SERAP backs Okonjo-Iweala’s on $20bn Excess crude fund


The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has welcomed “the promise by Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to publish details on the disbursement of Excess Crude Account (ECA) fund for the last four years.”
This followed the request on Tuesday by the Nigeria Governors’ Forum for an explanation from Mrs Okonjo-Iweala, on how $20bn that allegedly accrued to the Excess Crude Account was disbursed.
