Man denied job by diamond company for being Muslim

A diamond export company, Hare Krishna Exports, has denied job opportunity to a young male graduate with an MBA for being a Muslim.
The incident, seeing as a case of religious discrimination, has already prompted India’s National Commission for Minorities to seek an explanation from the company.
The incident also drew criticism from India’s central government, which said religious discrimination cannot be allowed.
Management graduate Zeshan Ali Khan had applied for an opening in the company on May 19 and, according to him, he received a response within 15 minutes, which said they hired only non-Muslim candidates.
