Akinwumi Adesina elected as 8th President of African Development Bank. AIT online
Nigeria’s outgoing Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Akinwunmi Adesina has been voted in as the new President of the African Development Bank (AfDB).
Adesina, who will be the eight president of the AfDB, will take over from the bank’s outgoing president, Donald Kaberuka of Rwanda on September 1, 2015 on September 1, 2015. The organisation has announced on its Twitter account a few minutes ago.
