An early morning inferno has ravaged Jafojo Street, Iyana-Ipaja, along the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway, leaving on its trail, several houses, cars and other valuables burnt into ashes.
Eyewitness account told our correspondent that no fewer than nine cars, five commercial buses, many shops and houses were burnt in a fire incident.
Our correspondent gathered that the incident started from one of the houses on the street but quickly spread to other buildings after men of the State Fire Service failed to respond quickly to the scene.
