Senator Bukola Saraki has been elected President of the 8th National Assembly.
Sarai was was nominated by Senator Sani Yerima and seconded by Dino Melaye.
As at the time of the election, most senators of the APC were still meeting with President Muhammad Buhari at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
The meeting was scheduled to commence at 9.00am this morning, but as at the time of this report, those loyal to Saraki, a Senate President aspirant and Yakubu Dogara of the House of Representatives are not at the Buhari parley.
