The Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, has approved the termination of the appointment of the Vice Chancellor of the State university, Prof. Bashiru Okesina.
This was contained in an excerpt of the White Paper released on the crisis rocking the university, made available by the media aide to the Governor, Semiu Okanlawon.
Aregbesola also accepted the recommendation for the dissolution of the Governing Council headed by Prof. Gabriel Olawoyin (SAN) but the council will still be in place until the process of the appointment of a new vice chancellor of the institution is completed.
