The Civil Societies’ Coalition for Emancipation of Osun state (CSCEO) has raised alarm over what it described as clandestine move by the state government to intimidate and persecute Justice Oloyede Olamide Folahanmi for daring to speak out in the face of the tyranny that characterized the rule of 0gbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
CSCEO comprising civil societies organisations in the state after their meeting at Osogbo, the state capital on Friday, commended the courage of the serving Osun judge and resolved to stand with her, saying she was on the side of the people and only performed her duties as enshrined in sections 4, 128 and 129 of the constitution.
Speaking on behalf of CSCEO, Comrade Ebenezer Oladapo called on the State House of Assembly to conduct a thorough and credible investigation of allegations of deliberate and criminal mismanagement of the economy of the state by the duo of Aregbesola and his deputy, Otunba Titi Laoye Tomori.
The group urged all well meaning citizens of Osun state home and abroad as well as all God-fearing people all over the world to prevail on the state lawmakers to carry out its constitutional duties as is being demanded by the people of Osun state through the Oloyede’s petition.
Besides, it also warns the political jobbers who parade themselves as human rights activists yet speaking or acting against Justice Folahanmi’s people’s petition to desist from such acts or face the wrath of the people.
