Thousands of worshipers escaped death by the whiskers as four powerful blasts rocked the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) in Tudun Wada area of Jos North Local Government of Plateau State.
The blasts were said to have gone off in quick succession at about 8am Sunday morning.
A witness near the church said the noise from the “massive” explosions was very loud and that the casualty might be high as worshippers were at the church for the Sunday service.
The explosions occured one week after a similar explosion at a Redeemed Church in Yobe State claimed many lives.
The police spokesperson in Plateau could not be reached for comments as of the time of the report.
