Now Don Jazzy can further claim to be the DoroBoss! The Mavins he leads just won the Song of the Year award at the ongoing MTV MAMA 2015.
Jazzy and his crew won the award for ahead of competitors from South Africa, Nigeria, Togo, and Kenya. These are Cassper Nyovest ‘Doc Shebeleza’ (South Africa), Euphonik featuring Mpumi: ‘Busa’ (South Africa), DJ Fisherman & NaakMusiQ featuring DJ Tira, Danger & Dream Team: ‘Call Out’ (South Africa), K.O featuring Kid X: ‘Caracara’ (South Africa) and Lil Kesh featuring Olamide & Davido: ‘Shoki Remix’ (Nigeria).
Others are Sauti Sol: ‘Sura Yako’ (Kenya), Toofan: ‘Gweta’ (Togo), Wizkid: ‘Show You The Money’ (Nigeria) and Yemi Alade: ‘Johnny’ (Nigeria).
