Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho was on for 90 minutes, recording another impressive performance and the assist for the 2nd goal as Manchester City defeated their host, Vietnam 8-1 in a pre-season friendly.
Raheem Sterling was in top form for his new club as Manuel Pellegrini‘s side scored 4 goals in both halves with the former Liverpool star netting a brace in the match.
By the end of 90 minutes regulation time, the game stood at 8-0 but the hosts were able to get a goal in extra time. The superb performance comes 3 days after the team was defeated 4-1 by Real Madrid.
