The Game has admitted that he is facing the prospect of spending three years in jail for punching an off-duty police officer during a basketball game.
‘It’s a little bit more serious than it is,’ he said in an interview with Sway, ‘but we’re gonna go in there with a good team of lawyers and we’re gonna do what we can.’
The rapper adds that he is also due to go to trial today, Monday, August 17, 2015 for a $4.5 million lawsuit that 40 Glocc filed against him back in 2013.
The Game was accused of punching another player during a Pro-Am basketball game in Hollywood on Sunday, March 29, 2015. He was playing in a Pro-Am game Sunday at Hollywood High School when he got into a heated argument with another player.
According to TMZ, ‘Game threatened to kill the guy, punched him in the face and took off’ and the police are investigating the incident as battery.
