Justin Bieber is nervous about performing at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 30, 2015.
The singer who split from Selena Gomez last October after four years of dating, claims an unidentified ex-girlfriend used to throw him off before he took the stage by screaming at him and plans surround himself with supportive people before singing his new track, ‘What Do You Mean?,’ at the star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles.
He told ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’: ‘I’m so excited, but I’m so nervous … I just want it to be so awesome. I’m such a perfectionist and then I start getting in my head about people.
‘I’ve had an ex-girlfriend scream at me before going onstage and stuff. Now, I’m just in a place where I just have people around me that are just supporting me and what not.
‘So for me, it helps me when I have a lot people that really love me, that encourage me, that are like, ‘Hey man, you’re doing awesome!’ and that really means the world and I don’t know if I’d be able to do it without them.’
