Ivorian football legend, Didier Drogba proved his mettle as a goal king with an impressive hat-trick on his first half debut for Montreal Impact as they defeated Chicago Fire at home. Drogba’s 3 goals saved the day as the Canadian team narrowly defeated the Americans by 4-3.
Although Drogba originally debuted two weeks ago, he returned as a first team player on Saturday, September 5 to make his first major impact for the Canadian club as they defeated their American counterpart thus making him the first player to score a hat-trick within his first two games in the MLS.
Drogba’s new club, Montreal Impact is one of the 3 Canadian teams that compete in the MLS which has 17 other American teams.
