15 year-old Tholwana Mohale, who won the 2014 edition of South Africa’s Got Talent has released her debut single ‘Hollywood Guy’.
Her powerful voice dominates the track, indicating that she is a significantly better vocalist than the song reveals.
Adding to the authenticity of the song is that Mohale wrote the lyrics. But, she joked that her initial muse was no longer the object of her affection.
‘I had a crush on this guy at my old school so I wrote the song; but now it’s whatever, I don’t like him any more.
‘Maybe the song is about another guy I have a crush on.’
Her album is said to be released next year and Mohale sure hopes to be the creative brains behind most of the songs on the album.
