Nigerian born British actor, David Oyelowo and his wife, Jessica are cast of a new America action movie, Captive which tells the true story of a fugitive.
Oyelowo plays Brian Nichols, a criminal who escapes from the courthouse during a rape trial to go on a killing spree while trying to escape. Captive also stars Kate Mara, Michael Williams, Leonor Valera.
Captive is an adaptation of Asley Smith’s Unlikely Angel which is a true life story of Brian Nichols who in 2005, killed a judge, a journalist and two police men while trying to evade justice but was eventually nabbed 26 hours after and sentenced to life imprisonment in 2008.
The movie hits the cinemas tomorrow, September 18, 2015.
