Budding English premiership player, Odion Ighalo has justified his recent invitation to the Super Eagles with a brace for newly promoted EPL side, Watford as they defeated Newcastle United at home.
Igbalo’s two goals which came in the 10th and 28th minute of the match secured a much needed 3 points for the visitors. Newcastle however got a consolation goal in the 62nd minute via a Daryl Janmaat own goal which put the game at 1-2.
Odion Ighalo who scored his debut EPL goal for Watford in a 2-2 draw against Everton on August 8 has been named by Sunday Oliseh as one of the players who will confront Cameroon in Belgium next month.
