The September album spring has been hit by another major casualty as Ojuelegba singer, Wizkid has unceremoniously cancelled the release of his proposed 3rd album.
In an Instagram post, Wizkid announced that the album will now be dropping next year while he will be releasing an EP of 10 songs and 10 videos next month.
This is the second time the Star Boy boss will be postponing his album release while his perceived major competitor, Davido has also postponed his own release on two different occasions.
Fans and industry observers are now asking questions if Davido will again be shifting his sophomore release. Only days ago, the HKN boss has disclosed that the album was ready and will dropping soon while he is also set to release another track titled ‘Dodo’ in a couple of hours. However, with Wizkid’s decision, many are of the opinion it might also be affecting the Fans Mi singer.
Davido initially planned releasing the Baddest album on June 8 but moved it to August 10 which again never came to pass. Wizkid has now confirmed NET’s earlier prediction that he might not be dropping his album this year with his recent announcement which begs the question: will Davido go ahead to release his album as planned or also move it indefinitely?
