Some of Africa’s biggest names have been billed to perform at the Global Goals Citizens Festival in New York City today, Saturday, September 26.
The festival, headlined by Beyoncé, Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran, and Coldplay will be held on the Great Lawn of New York City’s Central Park, where over 60,000 global citizens will gather.
Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince is among the number of African artistes who’ll be performing at the event including Mafikizolo of South Africa, Sauti Sol of Kenya, Becca from Ghana, Toofan from Togo, Cobhams Asuquo and other African acts who featured on ‘Tell Everybody’, an African song aimed at adding a voice to the Global Goals Citizens campaign.
While the show is yet to kick off, see some of the African acts having a swell time in New York.
