#ChildNotBride resurfaces after Kano Emir, Sanusi Lamido marries 18-year-old as 4th wife

    The Nigerian social media space has been thrown agog after indications emerged that former CBN Governor and Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has taken an 18-year-old secondary school leaver as his 4th wife.
    The new bride Sa’adatu Barkindo-Musdafa is the daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa who recently completed her secondary school education. This got the people talking.
