Fast rising Nigerian actress, Kemi Lala Akindoju has expressed her excitement over winning the Best Newcomer Award at the Africa Movies Academy Award held last night in South Africa.
The talented actress who won the award for her role in Tunde Kelani’s Dazzling Mirage disclosed that it is an honour for her. ‘I am so honoured. This is like an announcement to Africa for me. I am so excited.’
She also revealed that asides Kunle Afolayan whom she worked alongside in Dazzling Mirage, she is also looking forward to working with Nigerian born South African filmmaker, Akin Omotoso.
The award for best newcomber goes to Kemi Lala Akindoju !
