Topping charts and rocking night clubs nationwide at the moment is Harrysong’s smash hit tune ‘Reggae Blues’ featuring Olamide, Kcee, Orezi and Iyanya.
NET recently caught up with the Fivestar music act who revealed the inspiration behind the song saying, ‘It’s actually a song of true life stories of people complaining about their relationships to me and then I just decided to put everything together to make this monster hit’.
Do you feel this is the biggest song of your career so far?, he was asked, ‘that’s what I keep hearing and I think I agree. Though I thought ‘Beta Pikin’ was big but ‘Reggae Blues’ became a hit almost instantly and it’s still growing. The funniest thing was I actually wrote that chorus 3 days after the death of my father. I was mourning and preparing for his burial and somehow the inspiration just came’.
