Yinka Ayefele escapes lynching over disagreement with hoodlums

    Reports emanating from multiple sources have it that Juju musician, Yinka Ayefele escaped being attacked by hoodlums over the weekend when he performed at a burial ceremony in Ondo state.
    According to reports, the hoodlums stormed the event demanding for a share of the N3M fee charged by Ayefele to perform at the burial of late Madam Ebunoluwa Lydia Odumakinde in Akure, Ondo State. The troublemakers numbering almost a dozen arrived at the event demanding for ‘the boys money’.
    Ayefele’s manager reportedly requested that they wait till the event was over but trouble began after the hoodlums discovered there will be no payment after all. They unleashed terror on the guests while also destroying Ayefele’s musical instruments.
    Ayefele was however reported to have escaped the scene while some of his band members were seriously injured.
