Ludacris and Ryan Seacrest are slated to executively produce a television program for CBS.
According to Variety, the show, ‘The Down Beat’, is being developed by Paul Downs Colaizzo, who has an overall deal with the network.
Nina Wass will also join Ludacris and Seacrest as an executive producer.
The show is scheduled to take place in Atlanta and portray a former businessman who seeks to give young men an alternative to the gang life through the local high school marching band.
Colaizzo is also working on an untitled show about a policeman in Pittsburgh.
Ludacris has acted in the Fast and Furious movie series and appeared in Empire and Being Mary Jane.
