Cristiano Ronaldo’s new biographical documentary, ‘Ronaldo,’ has some interesting details, as part scenes from the interview session are beginning to leak out.
The film features a series of deeply personal interviews with Ronaldo and his family, and it was during one of those interviews that Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, revealed that she seriously considered having an abortion while pregnant with the Real Madrid superstar. Aveiro had given birth to three children before Ronaldo and was pregnant at a time when her husband, who later died when he was 52, was battling a drinking problem.

According to Aveiro; ‘I wanted to have an abortion but God did not want that to happen. Cristiano was an unwanted baby but he’s given me so much joy.’
She continued: ‘He was a child I wanted to abort. We laugh about it now and he says, ‘Now I am helping you all’.
The biographical documentary will be hitting the theaters on Monday, November 9, 2015.
