Benedict Cumberbatch has received a CBE from 89-year-old Queen Elizabeth at a ceremony in Buckingham Palace, London, yesterday, Tuesday, November 10, 2015.
The Imitation Game actor was honoured for his work as an actor and charitable efforts.
He arrived at event with his wife Sophie to receive his accolade for Commander of the Order of the British Empire.
The actor married Sophie in March following a two-month engagement, and the couple welcomed their first child in June.
Benedict is currently filming upcoming Marvel Studios movie ‘Doctor Strange’, set for release in 2016.
