Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli has been announced as 2015 ‘Nollywood Personality of The Year’ by The Sun newspaper, a position that was previously held by Don Jazzy.
The news comes even as Omoni’s latest movie ‘The First Lady’ is in cinemas nationwide and receiving positive reviews.

An excited Omoni took to her Instagram to express her profound gratitude to the publication for the award.
In January 2014, Don Jazzy was named ‘Sun Creative Person of the Year’ at a ceremony that held at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.
Omoni also recently signed an endorsement deal with Nunu Milk as their brand ambassador.
