Gary Cahill’s 20th minute goal and three others in the second half was all Chelsea needed to make a statement last night in the ongoing UCL.
The Jose Mourinho led side were impressive as they hammered their hosts, Maccabi Tel Aviv at the Sammy Ofer Stadium. Willian (73rd), Oscar (77th) and Zouma (90+) all consolidated what was almost leading to a lone goal victory.
Nigeria’s Nosa Igiebor was also in a good form as he tried finding the back of the net but eventual lost with the homeside.
