Earlier yesterday, NET reported the death of rapper, Olamide’s dad. This incident has however thrown up questions on whether he will be honouring concerts he has earlier been billed for.
If Olamide decides to not perform at these events, many would understand as losing one’s father is an emotionally draining experience.
Amongst many other engagements, Olamide is supposed to headline the launch of new music streaming site, Cloud9 today, Friday, November 27 alongside Cassper Nyovest, OT Genasis, Seyi Shay and many others.

He is also scheduled to perform alongside Dede Mabiaku, Darey and Pasuma at Baseline Entertainment’s ‘Blacktie’ Christmas concert coming up on December 13.
The rapper, who only days ago dropped his 5th album ‘Eyan Mayweather’, is also set to host the second edition of his OLIC gig, a concert many industry watchers are thinking will be turned to a tribute concert for the late father.
Will Olamide be turning up or not? Time will tell.
