Nollywood actor and comedian Saheed Mohammed better known as Funky Mallam has disclosed that appearing in Kunle Afolayan‘s October 1 was a dream come true for him.
In a recent chat with NET, Funky Mallam said: ‘It is a dream come true and at the same time it was an awesome experience filming with someone who knows what filmmaking is all about. It is a honour and I learnt a lot working with professionals.’
He also revealed that the movie boosted his career internationally. ‘I had a great feeling when I read what critics said about me in newspapers and on the internet’.
‘I felt great because they see me as a versatile actor who would be able to translate any kind of role that you give to him.October 1 broke the jinx of stereotyping me in movies and has opened doors for me in other movies. October 1 really boosted my career,’ he added.
