But Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage is finalizing plans to released her second album in a matter of days.
She’s since ended her one year maternity leave; making public appearances, and even recording new music and shooting videos.
On Tuesday December 15, 2015, the mother-of-one will bless fans will a new body of work titled ‘RED‘. Her team including devoted hubby Tunji Balogun and Don Jazzy have already kicked off subtle teasers on social media, playing around the colour red on their avatars.
An insider told us ‘The plan was to have released the album when she delivered her baby. But that didn’t happen because of the complications. Now, everyone is working to make sure December 15 happens. She wants her album to be the album of the season…’
The 16 track album is produced by Don Jazzy and Baby Fresh with collaborations from 2face Idibia, Wizkid, and others.

Tiwa who was in South Africa recently to shoot music videos for songs off the album will be looking to claim her spot as Nigeria’s leading female singer with the new album. She’s already lost much of her kingdom to the likes of Yemi Alade and Seyi Shay.
