Nigerian-born bricklayer turned boxer becomes British heavyweight champion

    British boxer of Nigerian descent, Anthony Oluwafemi Joshua has emerged the new British heavyweight champion.
    The 26-year-old earlier today knocked out fellow contender, Dillian Whyte to clinch the 15th win in the 15 battles of his professional career.
    The fast pace boxer knocked out Dillian Whyte in the 7th round to win the top british title.

    Born to Nigerian parents in the UK, Anthony Oluwafemi Joshua is also a 2012 Olympic Gold medalist in the Super Heavyweight division.
    This victory is coming 6 years after Whyte defeated him in an amateur championship.
    Before boxing, Anthony worked as a bricklayer at construction sites.
    He is now being tipped as a possible challenger for World Heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.
