Arsene Wenger’s team has been embarrassed by less rated EPL side, Southampton to miss a chance to top the English Premier League table just before the new year.
The Gunners suffered an embarrassing away defeat at the St. Mary’s Stadium as Southampton handed them a 4-0 defeat.
Goals from Cuco Martina, Jose Forte and Shane Long brace spelled doom for the London side in their Boxing day EPL clash.
Leicester City remains top of the league table with 38 points after their 0-1 loss to Liverpool, while Arsenal has 36 points in 18 games.
