Grafton Entertainment lead act, Mr 2kay has expressed optimism about winning an award at the upcoming Headies 2015.
The ‘Moniegram’ singer yesterday took to Instagram to share his belief of walking away with an award.
‘Winning the headies before the end of 2015, will be a thing of joy n honor. I believe I’m winning so I did Sketch of me and the prestigious Headies,’ the singer captured his post.
Mr 2kay is nominated in the category of Best Reggae/Dancehall single for his track, ‘Bad Girl Special’ which features Cynthia Morgan and Seyi Shay.
He is however be contending with Timaya (Sanko), Solid Star (My Body), Patoranking (Daniella Whyne), Cynthia Morgan (German Juice) and Burna Boy (Checks and Balance).
The song is also nominated in the Best Collabo category which also has as contenders; Local Rapper –(Reminisce Feat. Olamide & Phyno), Hold on –(Joe El Feat. 2Face Idibia), Shoki (Remix) – (Lil’Kesh Feat. Olamide & Davido) and Do The right Thing –(Cobhams ft. Bez) and Sisi – (Praiz ft. Wizkid).
The award ceremony comes up on Wednesday, December 30, 2015.
