Davido and his babymama, Sophie Momodu.
It looks petty and childish. Quite surprising. But it’s happening. Davido has called out the mother of his child, Sophie, and her uncle – the magazine publisher Dele Momodu – over misunderstandings concerning his 7-month-old daughter, Imade.
It’s a long story but we’ll summarize it for you in 10 lines.
1. Davido has been unable to travel with his daughter because Sophie is doing all she can to prevent him.
2. There was apparently a scene at the Lagos airport last night, December 29, 2015.
3. Sophie’s uncle, Dele Momodu was instrumental to preventing Davido and his family from traveling with little Imade.
4. Davido is extremely pissed and has issued a long statement
5. According to Davido, he accepted the child ONLY when DNA test determined with maximum proof that he was indeed was the father.
6. Davido’s daughter’s trip out of the country was for medical care in Dubai.
7. According to Davido’s babymama, her daughter Imade Aurora Adeleke has been with the Adelekes since July 11, 2015.
8. Davido’s babymama sent a petition addressed to the Director-General National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons to prevent her daughter’s travel.
9. The American passport of Davido’s half-sister was seized at the airport last night and his dad could not travel on Emirates as planned.
10. At the moment, Davido is aboard a flight to Gambia where he’s performing for New Year.
