A jeweler is suing TIP, popularly known as T.I. for $700k in unpaid debts.
According to TMZ, Atlanta-based Aydin & Co says that T.I. did not pay it for more than $400k of jewelry it provided to him.
TIP however says the lawsuit is without merit.
In 2014, T.I. allegedly got an 18.5 karat white gold bracelet, a ring and yellow gold rosary from Aydin & Co.
He paid the company $20k but it says he still owes it an additional $44k for the jewelry.
Aydin & Co says this wasn’t a one-time practice, either.
It claims he has not paid them for more than $400k of jewelry it provided to the rapper in the past
The case is now in court and both parties have to prove their claims. T.I, as known ‘the king of the south’ has been to jail before and definitely won’t be backing down in a civil suit.
Should be fun to watch it play out.
