#GRAMMY2016: How Kendrick Lamar won 5 Grammy Awards

    The 58th Annual Grammy Awards was held last night, Monday February 15, at the Staples Center, Los Angeles and it promised to be a big night for Compton rapper, Kendrick Lamar who had received 11 nominations, including for every Rap category and for Album of the Year with ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’.
    The night delivered on it’s promise as Kendrick had a memorable night, going home with five awards.
    Lamar, aside from delivering a brilliant performance at the awards ceremony, won the awards for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap song for ‘Alright’ and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Bilal, Anna Wise and Thundercat for ‘These Walls’.
    Kendrick also outshined J. Cole, Dr. Dre, Drake and Nicki Minaj as he won Best Rap Album. He was presented the award by Ice Cube and his son, O’Shea Jackson Jr.
    Lamar was also awarded ‘Best Music Video’ for his appearance on Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’. …Read More
