    Well, it wasn’t Adele that got to belt Lionel Richie’s ‘Hello’ at Monday’s 58th Grammys, but the music icon who was crowned 2016’s MusiCares Person of the Year, was honoured with a stirring, star-studded medley of his hits, both as a solo star and as a member of The Commodores, during Monday’s Grammy Awards.
    John Legend started the tribute from his piano with a soulful version of ‘Easy.’ Lovato, rocking a black-and-white pantsuit, then took the stage for a potent vocal performance of the icon’s ‘Hello.’

    From his seat, Richie looked on with a smile and watery eyes. Soon, Demi passed the mic to Luke Bryan for ‘Penny Lover’ and Meghan Trainor for ‘You Are.’ The tempo picked up some more for Tyrese Gibson’s take on The Commodores’ lively ‘Brick House.’
