Ben Murray-Bruce wants Don Jazzy and D’banj to work again together as a birthday gift to him.
Nigerian pop star, Dapo Oyebanjo better known as D’banj has reiterated his readiness to work with former partner, Don Jazzy.
D’banj, who was one of the performers at the 60th birthday gig of Senator Ben Murray-Bruce last night, made the announcement during his performance.
D’banj was joined on stage by Bruce who requested that the former Mo’hits Records co-owners make a song together as a birthday present for him.
Responding to Bruce’s ‘please do this for me, it is my birthday request’ plea, D’banj revealed that he is ready to work with the Mavin boss whenever he is ready.
‘I have given serious consideration to this. Before I came on stage, I went to Don Jazzy and asked him to join me on stage. If he gives me a beat today, the song will be ready the next day’, D’banj said.
It would be recalled that 2face during his 40th birthday celebration last year also made a similar request asking for at least one collaboration between the two entertainers to which D’banj also gave a similar response while Don Jazzy ignored the call.
