Embattled Filipino boxing champ, Manny Pacquiao has continued to train actively despite recent reactions over comments he made against homosexuals.
The Philippines boxer, who is set to face American, Timothy Bradley in April in the last fight of his career, was during the week sacked by Nike as a brand ambassador for saying animals are better off than those of the same sex who sleep with one another.
While news of the sack went viral, the boxer, who is also running for a seat in the Senate in his country, is yet to react to the sack. Although he has tendered an apology for comparing homosexuals to animals, he maintains he is against the act because of his faith.
He faces Bradley on April 19 in Las Vegas almost one year after losing to Floyd Mayweather in what what described as the fight of the century. …Read More
