Reno Omokri commissions orphanage.
Popular author/pastor and former Special Assistant on New Media to the immediate past President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, yesterday Sunday, February 21, 2016, opened an orphanage located in Benin City, Edo state at a ceremony witnessed by friends and family.
At the event, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce announced that he would adopt two children and train them up to university level. Speaking afterwards, Professor Pat Utomi pledged that if Senator Ben Murray-Bruce would pay for the children’s schooling up to university level, he would continue from where he stopped and train them up to Masters level.
42-year-old Reno Omokri, built the orphanage, Helen and Bemigho Sanctuary for Orphans, in memory of his late mother Helen Bemigho Igbene, who died 12 years ago on March 17, 2004.
