Yesterday, March 4 2016, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, witnessed a large turnout of top politicians, prominent monarchs and celebrities as the new Olubadan, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji was presented with the staff of office and instrument of appointment.
Guests in attendance include Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamide Adeyemi, APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Oba Saheed Elegushi, Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose among others.
The event, which held at the Popoyemoja Palace, had King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal on band stand.
