He was born on March 29, 1952 in Lagos, Nigeria.
The powerful Nigerian politician, who was honoured with ‘Pillar of Arts and Culture Award’ at AFRIMA 2015, became the 12th governor of Lagos state in May 1999, ruled up until 2007 and was succeeded by Babatunde Fashola, who’s now Nigeria’s Federal Minister of Power, Works and Housing.
