Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has been charged by the English Football Association for improper conduct following his sending off against West Ham on Sunday.
Also, Leicester City have been charged for not controlling their players after West Ham were awarded a penalty in the game which ended 2-2.
This was disclosed by the FA on their official website on Monday.
Vardy, who is joint-top scorer on 22 goals with Harry Kane, was shown a second yellow card for diving after coming in contact with Angelo Ogbonna.
A statement released by the FA reads: “Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy has been charged with improper conduct for his behaviour following his second-half dismissal against West Ham United on Sunday 17 April 2016.
“Leicester have also been charged for failing to control their players following the awarding of an 83rd-minute penalty to West Ham.
“Both the player and the club have until 6pm on Thursday 21 April 2016 to reply to their charge.”
