FC Barcelona has retained the Spanish La Liga title, winning it for the second consecutive season.
The Spanish champions won their 24th title in the 85th (2015/2016) season, after beating Granada 3–0 on the final match day.
Thanks to a wonderful hat-trick by the league’s top scorer Luis Suarez, the Catalan giants staved off rival Real Madrid who were lurking to overtake them on the log. Despite the heroics of Ronaldo, Madrid are second on the log just one point behind on 90 points.

The UEFA Champions League holder, won 29 0ut of the 38 games played, scored a total of 112 goals and ended with 91 points.
Suarez led the La Liga scoring chats with 40 goals while Cristiano Ronaldo took his strike to 35 goals. Suarez will now win the European Golden Boot for his scoring feats this season.
