    Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane, Saturday night, joined an elite list of personalities who have won the UEFA Champions League as player and as coach.

    After 90 minutes and extra time, Cristiano Ronaldo shot Real to their 11th Champions League victory against an Atletico Madrid side that looked better.

    Real Madrid’s victory means Zidane is the seventh man to win the Champions League as a player and a coach.

    The French football legend also won the trophy as an assistant coach under Carlo Ancelotti who guided Real to their 10th Champions League glory.

    It’s no longer news Zidane scored a breath-taking volley to win the 9th Champions League title for Real Madrid against Bayern Leverkusen in 2002.

    Munoz was a key figure as Real’s love affair with the European Cup began at its inception in the 1950s.
