Photo: 22-year-old Mahmoud Shafiq identified as suicide bomber in Cairo church attack, 4 others arrested

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi has 
declared that the terrorist attack on Cairo Cathedral on Sunday, December 11th, was carried out by
22-year-old Mahmoud Shafik Mohamed Mostafa.

“A young man entered the church. His name
is Mahmoud Shafik Mohamed Mostafa. He blew himself up inside the
church. He is 22-years-old,” announced President Sisi at the state funeral for victims of the attack on Monday.
