First black Polish lawmaker, John Godson visits woman who believed in him while he was growing up

Former Polish lawmaker, Hon. John Godson,who was the first black member of the Polish Parliament in the country’s history, in a heartwarming Facebook post, shared a story of the woman who believed in him despite the ‘evil’ things he did while he was growing up. He said he started drinking and smoking at age 11, started stealing and doing all sorts of things but she still believed in him. Read his story below:
