Court throws out billionaire kidnapper, Evans’ N300m fundamental right suit against IGP, others

Justice Abdulazeez Anka of the Federal High Court, Lagos has dismissed the N300 million fundamental right enforcement suit, instituted by suspected billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans. Justice Anka dismissed the suit for lacking in merit.

Evans who was arrested on June 10th 2017, filed the suit against the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris and three others challenging his arrest and detention beyond the legally allowed time by the police.
