Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom has remained resolute in his decision not to apportion land to herdsmen. The governor has also knocked defence Minister, Mansur Ali over his comments on the herdsmen crisis.
It will be recalled that the minister blamed the recent massacre of innocent people by suspected Fulani herdsmen in parts of the country, especially Benue on the promulgation of anti-open grazing laws and blockade of grazing routes.
