Why Ekiti People Loves Fayose Than Fayemi — Olu Aluko, Prof. Sam Aluko’s Son

Barrister Olu Aluko, a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Ekiti State (South West Nigeria) is one of the scions of late Professor Sam Aluko, an eminent Nigerian economist who passed away couple of years back.

The Aluko family is a prominent family in Ekiti State with diverse contributions to every sphere of the political life of the state. Towards the tail end of year 2014, and during a most unpopular period to decamp from the then ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) Party under former Governor Kayode Fayemi, Olu Aluko a known ally of Kayode Fayemi decamped from APC to join the then unpopular People’s Democratic Party under the leadership of Ayodele Fayose.

In a rare exclusive interview with Asabe Afrika TV on Tuesday 27th of March, 2018 in Abuja, Olu Aluko who is the second son of the eminent Sam Aluko told us real reason he dumped Kayode Fayemi for Ayo Fayose. He told us reasons why Ekiti People loves Ayo Fayose to Kayode Fayemi and why Ayo Fayose’s deputy, Kolapo Eleka will win the incoming Ekiti 2018 gubernatorial election next June. Enjoy the interview.
